Senior Minister
Jerry is in his 30th year at Jefferson and has watched the congregation grow spiritually and numerically over the years. Jerry is convinced that at Jefferson, the best is yet to come.

Steve Cook

Worship Minister
Steve came to Jefferson, along with his wife Beverly, in 1987 after graduating from Johnson Bible College in Knoxville, TN. Since coming to Jefferson, Steve and Beverly have raised two lovely daughters, Emilee and Jenna.

Steve has a passion for worshipping God and desires, each week, to help bring worshippers into His life changing presence. "I can't believe it is our mission and our privilege, as leaders in worship, to guide the family of believers here at Jefferson Church, as together we seek His face and honor Him with our praise."

Todd Payton

Student Minister
Todd joined the team at Jefferson in June 2008 and is a Lincoln Christian College graduate. Todd has been married to his beautiful wife Heather for 15 years and they have three children, Madison, Dawson, and Riley. He is originally from Indiana and has one love in sports, the Indianapolis Colts.

Todd's hobbies are paintball, basketball, working in the yard, and movies. He enjoys hanging with his students and getting to know them on their playing field. Todd is always excited about getting to know a new student and building that relationship.

Todd's mission in his ministry is to build solid relationships with students based on trust, so that he can help the student build a relationship with Jesus Christ. Todd thinks that this is done is many ways, Sunday School, small groups, Sunday nights, eathing lunch, hanging out, playing paintball, trips, and other activities.

Todd believes that together as a team the student ministry at Jefferson can make a difference by following the teaching of Christ and becoming strong Christian leaders in our community.

Chrissy McConkey

Children's Ministry Director
Chrissy came to Jefferson in August of 2010. She graduated from Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri. Before coming to Jefferson, she interned with a children's ministry in Moses Lake, Washington. Although being raised in Montana, she is excited about embracing the east coast culture and the kids at Jefferson. God is already moving in the children's ministry here at JCC and she is excited to be a part of it.

Chrissy's mission at Jefferson is to reach the kids with the love of Christ and a knowledge of the Bible through Sunday School, J.A.M (Kid's Church), the Zone (Wednesday night elementary program) and Wee Worship (Wednesday night preschool program). Her focus teaching biblical truths in fun, interactive ways to help reach kids for Christ.
