About JCC Kid's Ministry
JCC Kid’s Ministry offers something for all kids from birth to 5th grade. We offer full nursery or classes for both Sunday services and the Wednesday night activities. The desire of our kid’s ministry is to show kids the love of God while teaching them biblical truths and simply having fun. Each weekly event is different to reach the varying needs of kids. Our Sunday school hour is designed for a deeper study of Scripture and knowledge of the Bible. J.A.M. time is a kid’s style church service meant not to only teach the kids but to ready them to move into the adult worship service. Wednesday nights are designed to be light-hearted and active. The lessons will be more based on the varying activities designed to reach the different learning styles unique to each student.Purpose Statements
9:45 Sunday Morning
Sunday School: Our Sunday school hour exists to share the knowledge of God's word in age appropriate settings.
Starting at age 2 all the way to 5th grade we use HeartShaper by Standard Publishing to present scripture with activities to help reinforce the information. The lessons contain activities that will help kids explore God’s word, understand what the life application is and then show them practical ways they can live out what they learned. These classes are divided up by ages to ensure each lesson is tailored just for them.
11:00 Sunday Morning
J.A.M. Time: Our Jesus And Me Time is a large group session to lead kids into a time of worship similar to an adult worship service but designed specifically for kids.
J.A.M. Time is our Sunday morning worship service for kindergarten through 5th grade. The kids are led in a time of praise and worship, prayer, opportunities for offering and communion and are presented with a biblical lesson.
Classes younger than kindergarten remain in their rooms during the J.A.M. Time hour for extended activities from their Sunday school lesson.
7:00 Wednesday Night
The Zone: The Zone provides biblical truths using interactive games, lessons, music, and activities.
In our mid-week program for kindergarten through 5th grade, we use The Kitchen by KidzMatter Ministries. A bible lesson is presented using energetic activities that engage the kids and reinforce the lesson of the evening.
Wee Worship: Wee Worship is designed to show God's love while sharing hands on bible based lessons.
This mid-week program for 3 years old through pre-k is designed just for them. Using FaithWeaver Friends by Group Publishing, the children will be shown God’s love while learning simple bible truths that engage them in a variety of activities that relate to the lesson.
